About Bansry Shah, DO
Bansry Shah, DO, approaches family medicine care through a trauma-informed, patient-centered lens, creating a nonjudgmental and collaborative environment. She enjoys working with people of all ages and has a special interest in refugee and prenatal care. Dr. Shah tailors treatment to patients’ individual goals and needs, helping them find a balanced lifestyle and strong connection with their health.
Dr. Shah earned a bachelor’s degree in comparative literature, with a focus on hip hop, and a minor in Spanish from the University of Michigan, as well as a bachelor’s degree in medical sciences from Dominican University in Illinois. She earned her medical degree at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and performed a residency at St. Anthony North Family Medicine in Colorado. Dr. Shah also holds a certificate in integrative medicine from the Andrew Weil Center and is a fellow of the Academy of Wilderness Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Shah enjoys hiking, climbing, snowboarding, reading, attending concerts, dancing and team building.
