Respiratory Care
Comprehensive program of services for patients with known or suspected pulmonary disease or dysfunction. All services of the respiratory care department are provided by Respiratory Care Practitioners/Therapists licensed by the state of Kansas.
Our Services
Respiratory care is a specialty employed in the treatment, management and control of neonates and adults with respiratory difficulties and abnormalities. These functions are accomplished through therapeutic administration of oxygen, rehabilitation techniques, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and maintenance of natural and artificial airways.
Specific tests are performed to assist physicians in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating patients including measuring ventilatory volumes, pressures, and flows plus analyzing blood and respiratory gases.

- Arterial puncture
- Blood analysis

- Patient assessment
- Bedside baseline pulmonary function testing
