Finally, a place that combines the most useful parts of emergency services and urgent care all under one roof. Unlike a traditional urgent care facility that closes during the evening and is only equipped to treat a limited list of health issues, CommonSpirit Emergency and Urgent Care Lakewood is always open, with ER services running 24/7 and urgent care services available 7am - 9pm, daily. Our facility has the technology, experts, and clinical specialists on hand to deal with both urgent and emergency conditions — giving you the right care, when you need it. Some things are just better together, which is why we've streamlined the health care process by taking the guesswork out of determining where to go.

What should I expect when I come to a CommonSpirit Health Emergency & Urgent Care Center?

After the physician evaluates you, you’ll be told if the recommended course of treatment and/or testing involves emergency or urgent care level of service. Generally, patients with minor conditions which could typically be treated in a physician’s office, receive urgent care services. Patients who require a higher level of care receive emergency services.

Are CommonSpirit Health Emergency & Urgent Care Centers licensed emergency rooms?

Yes. Our emergency and urgent care centers are licensed as non-provider based freestanding emergency centers and meet Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment licensure requirements. They are staffed by CommonSpirit Health-affiliated board-certified emergency physicians, emergency-trained nurses, radiologic technologists and other clinical specialists. Unlike other freestanding emergency rooms, we bill urgent care at urgent care prices (7 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily).

What type of care do CommonSpirit Health Emergency & Urgent Care Centers provide?

Our Emergency & Urgent Care centers are able to treat all urgent and emergency medical conditions including, but not limited to chest pain, respiratory issues, head, sports and orthopedic injuries, abdominal pain, dehydration, and lacerations.
