About
Integrative Healing has been active at Mercy Hospital since 2001. A core group of holistic nurses and a doctor came together with the vision of providing complementary therapies to the hospitalized patient free of charge. In 2001, The Wellness and Spiritual Care departments presented a concept of Touch, Love, and Compassion program to hospital administration and were approved to begin. The Integrative Healing program embodies values of compassion, respect, integrity, spirituality, stewardship, imagination and excellence.

Our Services
Run by a dedicated team of registered nurses, IH is available for patients in all departments of Mercy Hospital for no additional cost. These IH offerings may help provide a calming effect, reduced swelling, improved circulation, better pain control, faster healing time, decreased muscular tension, enhanced coping skills, enhanced stress management skills, more restorative sleep and an increased sense of wellbeing.
In addition to caring for patients, our IH group supports staff wellbeing so our caregivers can better support you.
