We're committed to your healthy journey
When it comes to your health, you want peace of mind. As the region’s leading health care provider, we are committed to clinical excellence and superior outcomes. Even more, we have processes in place that put you at the center. This means you have access to information to better educate and inform you on your health journey.
Quality, service & safety resources
As you navigate levels of care and make the best decisions for your needs, we believe in providing you access to meaningful and reliable information about the quality and price of services across our system. These tools are designed to inform and empower you in making more value-oriented choices, which can improve quality and reduce costs for everyone.
Increasingly, more organizations provide information about their quality of care to help individuals make more informed decisions.
We understand how finding the right hospital for your particular condition can be a difficult process. That’s why we encourage you to review information based on recommendations and past performance, or process measures.
Hospital Compare
Through Hospital Compare, you can see these measures firsthand and make a more thorough and educated decision in the right hospital entity to give you the best care. Share this information with your doctor, your family and your friends. Talk about surgeries. Talk about experiences. Talk about anything that will make you as comfortable as possible.
Hospital Report Card
This is another tool giving you access to clinical data to measure the quality of care. You can never have too much information, so you should consider using this report card in tandem with Hospital Compare when evaluating hospitals.
The Joint Commission
There are times when someone may not have the opportunity to pick the hospital they want, especially in an emergency situation. Hopefully, you or someone close to you may never experience this. In the event something does happen, The Joint Commission prepares important information well ahead of time for a loved one to use instantly. This report helps determine ahead of time which hospital is in your best interest and which one accepts your insurance, HMO or PPO plan.
Spiritual care
We believe every health care journey begins with a dedication to healing body, mind and spirit. Our faith-based mission and approach to holistic health is essential to a person’s overall wellness.
We respect and abide by the unique spiritual needs of everyone who chooses CommonSpirit Health, regardless of faith or belief.
Chaplains are health care professionals who bring all the resources of spiritual and pastoral care to help our patients, their families and friends better cope with the challenges of a hospital visit. Our chaplains are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide spiritual guidance through prayer, ritual, sacrament, or help our patients connect to their religious communities.
Patients, their family members or friends can request a visit from a chaplain. They are also available to assist clergy or other pastors coming to visit their congregants.
To contact a member of our spiritual care or pastoral care team during your hospital stay, we provide the following convenient options:
- In-person: Ask the attending nurse to page the chaplain on call
- By phone: Call the hospital operator and ask for the chaplain on-call to be paged
