(ENGLEWOOD, COLO.) Centura Health, the region’s health care leader, and the United States Air Force Academy are excited to announce Centura as a new, multi-year sponsor and “Exclusive Health Care Provider of Air Force Athletics.”
The partnership is a collaboration of two legacy organizations in their region and the finest experts in their fields. As the largest health care system in Colorado, Utah and western Kansas, Centura Health delivers more than the highest quality services, we combine compassionate care with individualized treatment that will benefit Air Force students, alumni and the community. The United States Air Force Academy is a transformative institution, and the research, leaders and athletes that come from the Academy impact not only the Air Force, but the immediate community, the nation and the world.
“Air Force Athletics is pleased to announce this exclusive partnership with Centura Health,” Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine said. “Centura Health is a leader in our region and we are excited about our current collaboration to enhance and improve fan amenities at Falcon Stadium. The partnership will also support our robust Sports Camp and Kid Force programs in addition to our thousands of Falcon Fans who will look to utilize Centura's healthcare services.”
This exclusive partnership between two legacy organizations, includes services from Centura Health athletic trainers and sports medicine physicians for Air Force Academy athletes, an on-field injury tent for athletes and a Centura Health sponsored Cadet “Athlete of the Week”. Centura also provides orthopedic & primary care oversight for USAFA sports camps and contingency support for athletic medical coverage in case of a government shutdown. In the future, Centura Heath and USAFA athletic department will be exploring additional opportunities to partner within the sports medicine and human performance arena.
Centura Health will also sponsor events for the next generation of Falcons, including Sports Camps and Kid Force Kids Club. Since Centura Health’s earliest days, our caregivers have provided an emphasis on whole person health care and illness prevention.
