About Sameer Lodha, MD
Sameer Lodha, M.D., is a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in the hand, wrist and elbow. After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University, Dr. Lodha graduated from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. While there,he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society andwas employed as a research analyst. Dr. Lodha completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and pursued further training in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery through a fellowship at Duke University Medical Center.
Among other things, Dr. Lodha specializes in forearm, wrist and hand fractures; nerve conditions of the upper extremity, including carpal tunnel syndrome; arthritis in the hand; and ligament injuries in the elbow and wrist. He has written several book chapters on fractures, shoulder instability and vascularized grafting. Dr. Lodha is also involved with several research projects addressing arthritis, ligament surgery, fractures and implanted hardware. In addition to English, Dr. Lodha speaks Spanish and Hindi.
When he has time, Dr. Lodha loves reading. He and his wife also enjoy spending time with their child, travel and tennis.
