About Nathan Bennion, MD
Nathan Bennion, MD, supports patients, teaches them about their diagnosis, provides an unbiased explanation of treatment options and delivers academic-quality treatment plans. He enjoys his work the most when his patients feel understood.
Dr. Bennion received his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Brigham Young University in Utah and his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his radiation oncology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Dr. Bennion previously worked as an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine. He has received multiple teaching awards, authored over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and served on the Education Committee for the American Society of Radiation Oncology.
Outside of work, Dr. Bennion enjoys spending time with his spouse and children, who keep him young. He enjoys using his smoker and pizza oven, listening to music, spending time in the mountains and participating in water sports. Dr. Bennion is also learning to play the cello.
