About Katie Payne, MD
Katie Payne, MD, believes health care is a human right and that patients have a right to drive their own health-related decisions. She carefully explains current evidence-based practices and works with her patients to make thoughtful decisions.
Dr. Payne is board certified in internal medicine and advanced diabetes management. She also has training in endocrinology, cardiology, pulmonology, hepatology, infectious disease and rheumatology. Dr. Payne’s practice includes adults with multiple complex chronic medical conditions and an emphasis on insulin-dependent diabetes, including the latest technology and pump therapy.
Dr. Payne received her medical degree from the University Of Missouri-Kansas City School Of Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
Outside of work, Dr. Payne enjoys hiking, yoga, camping, PC games and board games.
