About Darlene Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson is a board-certified Dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon. She is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. She was born in the Matanuska valley of Alaska and raised in Iowa, where she obtained her medical degree at the University of Iowa. She completed her Pediatric Internship at Yale University and Dermatology Residency at Harvard University. After her fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, she returned to Boston as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Harvard University. Dr. Johnson revels in her son and daughter, and the companionship of her husband, a professor of economics. She enjoys horseback riding, sewing, travel and outdoor sports.
