About George Leimbach, MD
George Leimbach, MD, believes that accurately diagnosing a patient's underlying conditions causing their pain is the key to the right treatment for an optimal outcome. He listens to a patient's concerns and goals and applies a wide variety of diagnostic tools to reach an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Leimbach treats spinal, musculoskeletal and sports injuries and chronic pain. He uses electrodiagnosis, regenerative medicine (including PRP and stem cell injections), and diagnostic and therapeutic neural blockade to help his patients.
Dr. Leimbach received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, and a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. He continued his medical education and acquired his Doctor of Medicine at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri, and a Master of Science in engineering from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Leimbach completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Jewish Hospital, Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri. He received his board certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is Level II certified in Division of Workers’ Compensation.
In his spare time, Dr. Leimbach enjoys body building, weightlifting, skiing, scuba diving, motorcycling, hiking and mountain biking.
