About James Jensen, MD

J. Daniel Jensen, MD, delivers excellent dermatologic care for each of his patients by providing state-of-the-art services at his practice, including the latest in dermatologic treatments, Mohs surgery, cosmetic dermatology and minimally-invasive varicose vein treatments. Dr. Jensen believes in treating each patient with compassion and respect. He strives to develop strong, long-lasting relationships with his patients, and to provide a healing environment where each patient can achieve and maintain their healthiest skin.

Dr. Jensen earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University, and then earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of Alabama, followed by a fellowship at Scripps Health in La Jolla, CA. He is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine, in which he specializes in the treatment of vein disease.

Dr. Jensen enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two children. He loves the outdoors, mountain biking, skiing and horseback riding. He also enjoys playing the piano and guitar. He currently serves as a high school seminary instructor for his church and is President-Elect of the Colorado Dermatologic Society.
