About Matthew Gerlach, MD
Dr. Gerlach has expertise in all aspects of spine surgery, including the latest minimally invasive surgery options and treatment of scoliosis and other complex spinal deformities.
Dr. Gerlach completed a fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Spine Surgery at Rocky Mountain Spine Clinic, Lone Tree, Colorado, where he obtained extensive orthopedic and neurosurgical training in both minimally invasive and traditional surgical techniques of the entire neck and back.
Dr. Gerlach earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and completed his residency in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Gerlach is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His primary specialty is surgical and minimally invasive treatment of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Additional areas of specialty are extremity trauma and fracture care.
Outside of work, Dr. Gerlach is a husband and busy father of four, two sons and two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family playing soccer, golfing, skiing, climbing mountains and road biking.
