About Matthew Smolin, MD
Matt Smolin, MD, provides compassionate, state-of-the-art care across the spectrum of cardiac disease, from prevention to intervention. Dr. Smolin treats coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and pacemakers.
Dr. Smolin received his undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Albany, attended medical school at New York Medical College in New York and had his residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, Colorado in Internal Medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Cardiovascular Disease from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Smolin also received an MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University in Utah.
Outside of work, he is an artist and musician, painting in pastels and oils or playing guitar and bass. Dr. Smolin enjoys skiing and is a multi-engine instrument rated pilot.
