About Premjit Deol, DO
Premjit (Pete) S. Deol, DO is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in injuries and disorders of the foot and ankle. Dr. Deol was raised in the northern Chicago area and received his bachelor's degree at Macalester College in Minnesota. He earned his medical degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T. Still University in Missouri. Upon completion of his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at South Pointe Hospital/Cleveland Clinic Health System in Ohio, he then went on to complete a fellowship in Foot & Ankle Reconstruction with the Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Deol's primary focus is on sports injuries, arthroscopy, cartilage disorders/arthritis, total ankle replacement, bunion correction and complex fractures and reconstruction of the foot and the ankle. He maintains an active interest in general orthopedics and fracture care with on-call trauma responsibilities. Despite a busy office and operative schedule, Dr. Deol still finds time to maintain active involvement in teaching residents and other orthopedic surgeons, leading the Panorama Orthopedics Outcomes Department, having an active role in local and national orthopedic organizations and pursuing clinical research.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Deol enjoys mountain biking, skiing, photography and spending time with his German Shepherd, Wrigley.
