Opioid Use Disorder Treatment
Through a pilot program, we are now able to treat individuals in the north metro Denver region who have opioid use disorder.
Our Services
Through coordinated efforts among the St. Anthony North Hospital emergency department, the 84th Avenue Emergency Department and outpatient providers of medication assisted treatment (MAT), our program is designed to provide lifesaving treatment options to people at risk of opioid overdose.
MAT is a clinical therapy used to help patients with opioid use disorder, involving the prescribing of certain opioid substitutes combined with behavioral therapies to build whole person care. This allows those struggling with opioid dependency, to continue functioning while being rehabilitated.
