Our Services

The free-standing center currently features diagnostic PET Scan services, a dual energy linear accelerator and a treatment planning system utilizing the latest in computer technology to aid in defining treatment areas while avoiding harm to at-risk organs. Heartland Cancer Center has brought the latest services and facilities for cancer care, including a Linear Accelerator, or TrueBeam, which can image tumors with high precision and deliver high energy treatment in a way that minimizes the amount of radiation delivered to healthy tissue.

The patient's experience is enhanced through multi-disciplinary teamwork including spiritual, mental, nutritional, and rehabilitative services. Our team works together to provide quality care for the whole person, body, mind and spirit.

Oncology nurse navigator

Oncology patients face many challenges that begin when they are diagnosed and often remain throughout the continuum of care. Patient navigation programs were developed to reduce gaps in care by improving access and timeliness. Navigators overcome barriers and facilitate quality care, while providing support and guidance through the health care system.
