About Pamela Vallejo-Craig, MD, FACP
Dr. Pamela Vallejo-Craig was born in Madrid, Spain, and grew up in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University in College Station, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minors in Spanish and Chemistry. Dr. Vallejo-Craig pursued her medical education at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Health and Hospitals in Dallas, Texas.
She is triple board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM), and the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), showcasing her dedication to comprehensive patient care and commitment to continuous improvement. She has been recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the largest society of internists in the world. Her professional interests include preventive health, and she also holds a certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University.
Dr. Vallejo-Craig is married and the proud mother of four active children. She enjoys traveling, watching hockey, and creating lasting memories with her friends and family.
