About Lisa Barnes, NP
Lisa Barnes, APRN-BC, is a caregiver on a mission to treat each patient like she would treat her own family. She strives to encourage her patients to be involved in their medical decision making and is there to guide preventative care and encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
She graduated with her master’s from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She sees all patients from birth to elder care. Lisa also does well baby checks, acute care, laceration repair, evaluation and treatment of strains and sprains, chronic disease management and women's health. Some common procedures performed include Pap/pelvic exams, breast exams, well child checks, skin biopsies, simple incision and drainage procedures and wart treatments.
When Lisa isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys refinishing old furniture, watching her daughter play college golf and taking her two Great Dane fur babies for walks and car rides.
