About Candie Evans, PA-C
Candie Evans, PA, believes that pain has different physical, social and emotional implications for each individual. Because of this, she focuses on a comprehensive assessment to plan a care approach for optimized management over time. Her goal is to work in tandem with the team of physicians and caregivers to identify interventions for improving both function and coping with pain and its impact. She considers these partnerships key in optimizing each patient’s care.
Candie received her undergraduate degree in human development and family studies from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her graduate studies include a Master of Science in infant and young child mental health from the Department of Education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Additionally, Candie obtained a Master of Science in health sciences and a physician assistant degree and training from George Washington University in Washington D.C., along with a Master of Public Health at GWU.
When she is not working with patients, Candie enjoys volunteer work, photography, traveling and hiking with her huskies.
