About Michael Ko, MD

Michael Ko, MD, provides patient-centered care that focuses on quality of life. Dr. Ko partners with his patients and guides them to the best treatment options available using science, research and his own clinical experience. Neurology issues are often complex; however, he strives to manage or minimize conditions for his patients wellbeing so they can achieve optimal health. Dr. Ko treats patients with many neurologic conditions from headaches and concussions to multiple sclerosis and encephalitis.

Dr. Ko received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Ko completed his residency training in Neurology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. It was also at Rush University Medical Center that he became fellowship trained in multiple sclerosis.

In his free time Dr. Ko enjoys being outdoors skiing, hiking and cycling. He is also a craft beer fan, cooking novice and loves to travel to the tropics.
