About Daniel Worrell, DO
Daniel Logan Worrell, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon at CommonSpirit Summit Orthopedics. He believes a healthy, active lifestyle is crucial for both physical and mental well-being. His approach to patient care emphasizes collaboration and the development of individualized treatment strategies designed to improve function and allow patients to continue enjoying their favorite activities.
Dr. Worrell completed his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. He earned his medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Worrell’s Orthopedic Surgery residency was at the Cleveland Clinic, and he went on to complete an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship in San Diego. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
Dr. Worrell enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. Summer activities include mountain biking and fly fishing, while winter finds him snowboarding (both inbounds and backcountry). His labrador retriever, Piper, is a frequent companion on his adventures.
