About Jonathan Schoen, MD
Jonathan Schoen, MD, is an experienced bariatric surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He treats patients experiencing a variety of diseases, including obesity, gallbladder disease, inguinal hernia, and more. Dr. Schoen performs laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy surgeries, gastric bypass surgeries, lipoma excision, hernia repair, and revision of prior bariatric surgeries.
Dr. Schoen believes in providing compassionate, state-of-the-art medical and surgical care with a focus on respect and inclusivity. His goal is to help every patient live their best life.
Dr. Schoen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and a Master of Science degree from Touro College. He completed medical school at the Technion Institute of Technology in Israel, followed by an internship and residency at the University of Colorado Hospital, where he also completed a minimally invasive bariatric surgery fellowship.
Outside of work, Dr. Schoen enjoys a variety of activities including camping, skiing, and mountain biking. He also enjoys listening to music and spending time with his family.
