About Michael Holmboe, DO
Michael Holmboe, DO, understands that treating patients is more than simply providing medical or surgical treatment. He uses his philosophy and theology background alongside his medical training to improve his patients’ experiences. Dr. Holmboe values and understands the importance of listening to his patients to better understand the multifactorial nature of medical conditions. He brings honesty, integrity and transparency to the care he provides and looks forward to the opportunity to provide compassionate and modern medical and surgical care to every patient he encounters.
Dr. Holmboe received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology from Franciscan University in Ohio and his medical degree from Rocky Vista College of Osteopathic Medicine in Colorado. He completed his residency at Valley Orthopedic Surgery in California and an adult reconstruction fellowship at the CORE Institute in Phoenix. Dr. Holmboe has published in peer-reviewed orthopedic journals and an orthopedic textbook chapter on hip instability, as well as a presenter at multiple national orthopedic conferences. and an author.
Dr. Holmboe is thrilled to be practicing in his home state and loves spending time with his spouse and children. He is a lifelong outdoorsman and enjoys hiking, fly fishing, snowboarding and hunting. Dr. Holmboe also loves learning about cutting-edge technology and the engineering behind how things work.
