About Amanda Dunaway, NP
Amanda Dunaway, NP, strives to ensure that every person feels respected, valued, and plays an active role in their medical care. Amanda takes time to ensure that her patients understand the reasons, benefits, and risks for every recommended treatment so that they can make the best decisions for their personal health and wellbeing. Amanda specializes in the medical management of diseases of the cardiovascular system including hypertension and heart failure.
Amanda completed her undergraduate degree in biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans. Amanda then earned her Master of Science in nursing with a focus in adult gerontology and acute care from the University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys running, hiking, skiing, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
