About Andrea Tsoris, MD
Andrea Tsoris, MD, wants to provide patients and families with personalized compassionate care. She knows that surgery or an ICU stay can be a frightening experience, so she always tries to thoroughly educate patients and their families about the procedure, process, recovery, and what to expect. Dr. Tsoris performs minimally invasive surgeries, robotic surgeries, and gastrointestinal surgeries to help patients with diverticulitis, cholecystitis, appendicitis, and several other conditions.
Dr. Tsoris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. She went on to complete medical school at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She also completed a general surgery internship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, a general surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Nashville, and a fellowship in surgical care Eastern Virginia Medical school in Norfolk, Virginia.
Dr. Tsoris enjoys yoga, salsa dancing, gardening, and hiking with her dog.
