About Christopher Taylor, MD
Christopher Taylor, MD, specializes in benign and malignant pathology of the colon, rectum, and anus. As the director of the only Rectal Cancer Center of Excellence in the state of Colorado, he understands the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to all patient care, including rectal cancer. His goal is to provide patients with a clear understanding of their disease process and establish a patient-centered and family-centered treatment plan.
Dr. Taylor earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee, majoring in biology with minors in chemistry and business. He went on to complete medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed a general surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and a colon and rectal surgery fellowship at Utah Healthcare Institute St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is fellowship trained and board certified in colorectal surgery.
Dr. Taylor enjoys sailing, skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities with his partner, Frankie, and their dog, Nala.
