About Galen Holmes, MD

Galen Holmes, MD, is on a mission to improve her patients’ quality of life by empowering patients to be informed and active decision makers in their healthcare. Dr. Holmes is especially interested in preventive medicine and exercise and sports medicine. She is able to perform laceration repairs, skin biopsies, joint injections, and many other in-office procedures.

Dr. Holmes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Biology concentration from the University of California Los Angeles. She went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She completed her Internship, Residency, and an Acute Care Fellowship at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California.

Dr. Holmes thoroughly enjoys all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. She spends her spare time hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and ski-skating.
