About Jason McGowan, MD
Jason McGowan, MD, specializes in neurological and spine surgery and has advanced fellowship training in the treatment of degenerative spinal conditions, including scoliosis, complex spinal deformity and spinal reconstruction. He uses the latest surgical techniques, including 360-degree “circumferential” spinal surgery, to shorten hospital stays and reduce recovery time for his patients. What patients truly love about Dr. McGowan is his devotion to their education. He takes the time to explain the specifics of each diagnosis to his patients and their families, even winning a String of Pearls award for “exemplifying humanism in the care of patients.”
Dr. McGowan attended Medical School at Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, DC and completed his Residency at Georgetown University Hospital.
He enjoys exploring all of Colorado's outdoor offerings, including golf, snowboarding and hiking. When he’s not outside, you can find him checking out Denver’s culinary scene.
