About Jennifer Wenzell, DO
Dr. Wenzell is a maternal fetal medicine physician who is board-certified in obstetrics/gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. She attended college at Binghamton University in upstate New York and medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
From 1999 – 2001, she was stationed at Fort Hood, Texas where she served as a flight surgeon and a brigade surgeon. In 2004, she completed a residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, Washington in obstetrics/gynecology and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine in 2007. At Madigan Army Medical Center she served as a staff Perinatologist and Chief of the Antenatal Diagnostic Center until 2012. She deployed to Iraq as a general surgeon in 2009 and retired from the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2012.
Dr. Wenzell worked at Alaska Native Medical Center where she provided perinatology care for Native Americans and Alaska Natives. She previously served as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
