About Joyce Morton, NP

Joyce Morton is a nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatric and mental health care at CommonSpirit Behavioral Health West Valley. Joyce's care philosophy centers on building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. She believes in collaborative treatment planning, actively involving patients in decisions about their care. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of conditions, and enjoys working with both children and adults.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University, a Master of Science in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama, and has earned a Mindfulness Certification.  

Outside of her professional life, Joyce enjoys a variety of creative pursuits, including cake decorating, flower arranging, crafting, and sewing. She also cherishes spending quality time with friends and family.
