About Julia Tanguay, DO
Julia Tanguay, DO, believes that building trusting relationships with her patients and their caregivers is the best approach for care. Dr. Tanguay is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys caring for patients who may not speak English as their first language. From newborns to teens, Dr. Tanguay treats a variety of conditions, acute and chronic. She also enjoys promotion of shared reading between patients and their caregivers.
Dr. Tanguay earned her master’s degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Spanish Language and Literature at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. She completed her residency at the Cleveland Clinic and then worked for three years at Akron Children’s Hospital Emergency Department.
In her spare time, Dr. Tanguay enjoys walking her dog, skiing, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Together they enjoy traveling and have been to many places around the world.
