About Keith Minihane, MD
Dr. Keith Minihane is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon who treats patients with a variety of traumatic or long-standing musculoskeletal problems. He joined us in November 2013, is accepting new patients and providing care at the St. Thomas More Orthopedic Clinic in Canon City.
Dr. Minihane earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and his Medical Degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL where he graduated with honors. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, and his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Having served in the United States Army as an orthopedic surgeon, he provided care for soldiers and their families in Ft. Carson, CO and South Korea. He was also deployed to Afghanistan. Most recently, he was the sole orthopedic surgeon in a rural community in Illinois.
Dr. Minihane and his wife met while he was stationed at Ft. Carson, and were married in Colorado. They are excited to be back in beautiful Colorado to be closer to family and the outdoors. During his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding, cooking, woodworking, and spending time with family.
