About Kenneth Ott, MD
Born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., Kenneth Ott, MD received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He then went on to obtain a master’s degree in Education from the National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois. Remaining in Chicago, Dr. Ott also served for a short time as a high school biology and chemistry teacher for Teach for America. In the meantime, he felt called to a career in medicine.
He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Ott is drawn to family medicine in particular because of the broad array of people and diseases encountered. He is passionate about working for his patients and learning from them every day.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Ott and his wife enjoy getting outside for hiking, biking, skiing, and running, playing soccer or tennis.
