About Kristen Hughes, NP
Kristen Hughes, NP, is a Women's Health Care provider who values empowering individuals to optimize physical, emotional, and spiritual health throughout all stages of life. Kristen believes each patient she serves should feel valued, respected, and understood.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science in Nursing focusing on Women's Health from the University of Colorado at Anschutz Medical Campus. Kristen has worked at St. Francis Hospital on the Mother Baby unit where she discovered a passion for educating and promoting breastfeeding. Kristen has additional breastfeeding training and is an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant
Kristen has focused training in gynecologic and obstetric care and is passionate about educating and serving individuals in the community she calls home.
Kristen grew up in Monument and loves living in Colorado. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dog Zoey, mountain biking, yoga, gardening, traveling, and exploring Colorado's great outdoors.
