About Luis Amador, MD
Dr. Luis Felipe Amador received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico. He also earned his medical degree in Puerto Rico from the University Central Del Caribe. Dr. Amador completed an internal medicine degree at the University of Southern Illinois and a two year Geriatric fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina.
Dr. Amador believes in treating his patients as he would want to be treated, always respecting their wishes and goals. His areas of clinical interest are in the prevention of disability, polypharmacy, and hypertension. Dr. Amador is fluent in both Spanish and English.
When not treating patients, Dr. Amador enjoys hiking, racquetball, and photography. He is happily married and has a daughter.
