About Mark Porter, MD
Mark Porter, MD, partners with his patients and educates them on their treatment options. Together they can create a care plan that is unique to their health care goals.
Dr. Porter earned his graduate degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland and completed his residency at Texas Tech/William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Dr. Porter served in the US military and continues to serve in the US Army Reserve.
As an Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Porter treats acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions such as shoulder, knee, and ankle arthroscopy. He can also treat total knee replacement, ACL reconstruction, meniscal repair, rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel release, operative and nonoperative treatment of fractures and arthrodesis of the ankle and foot.
Outside of work, Dr. Porter enjoys activities that revolve around his family and farm. He stays active with his daughters, dogs, and their horses.
