About Marvin Rios, MD

Marvin Rios, MD, believes that every patient is individual and that understanding each patient as a whole is the best way to deliver individualized, protective treatment for their condition. With specialties in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism, he regularly performs thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle aspiration biopsies, as well as insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor interpretation.

Dr. Rios attended The University of Medical Sciences (UCIMED) in San Jose, Costa Rica, for medical school, followed by an internal medicine residency Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. He completed a fellowship in endocrinology diabetes and metabolism at the University of Utah.

Dr. Rios enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, mountain biking and camping.
