About Richard Converse, MD
Richard Converse, MD, is a cardiologist who treats patients experiencing coronary artery disease, valvular disease, myocardial disease, and other cardiovascular issues. He also practices preventive cardiology and enjoys when patients take an active role in their own healthcare.
Dr. Converse completed his undergraduate studies at Georgia Institute of Technology and Johns Hopkins University, studying mechanical engineering and human biology, respectively. He went on to complete medical school at Johns Hopkins before completing an internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Converse enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, flying, and travel. He has one daughter.
