Dr. Richard Gelb, MD, FACC, is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist at Cardiology Lehi Mountain Point. He brings extensive experience and a patient-centered approach to his practice. A firm believer in collaboration, Dr. Gelb actively involves his patients and their families in every stage of their care, ensuring shared decision-making that aligns with individual needs and preferences. His philosophy emphasizes conservative treatment whenever possible, while readily employing aggressive interventions when necessary. Dr. Gelb's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by his MD from the University of Miami. His rigorous training encompassed Internal Medicine residencies at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, CA, and L.A. County USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. He further honed his expertise through a Cardiology Fellowship at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His dedication to his field is reflected in his Fellowship in the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Outside of his practice, Dr. Gelb enjoys skiing, reading history, organic gardening, and alpine hiking.
