About Robert Wrona, MD
Dr. Robert Wrona is a general surgeon, who specializes in general surgery. He performs minimally invasive surgery (including hernia repairs and colectomies) using laparoscopic techniques and the Da Vinci robotic system. Dr. Wrona also works closely with the spine surgeons at Spine Colorado to provide anterior access to the spine for lumbar and lumbosacral spine disease.
He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University, and completed his training at the University of Utah and the affiliated Huntsman Cancer Center - a member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. After completing training in general surgery, Dr. Wrona served as a visiting instructor on the faculty of the University of Utah. He has his FACS (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) designation and is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
