About Christine Birchem, PA-C

Christine "Christie" Birchem, PA, enjoys collaborating with community providers in the Denver Metropolitan and mountain regions to expand community benefit from CommonSpirit’s expertise in complex structural heart problems. She is a Structural Heart Coordinator with 10 years of valuable cardiothoracic surgical physician assistant experience. She works to advance the minimally invasive structural heart program through quality outcomes and outstanding patient experience.

Christine received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin. She completed her Associates of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Christine also earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant studies from Des Moines University, Des Moines, Iowa.

Her and her husband enjoy the Colorado lifestyle while raising their young son and two dogs. Also enjoys fitness, running, traveling, and cooking.
