About Perry Ng, MD
Perry Ng, MD, is an experienced interventional neuroradiologist specializing in minimally invasive endovascular procedures for intracranial and spinal vascular malformations and aneurysms, as well as percutaneous spinal pain management. He earned his medical degree with honors from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Upon finishing medical school, he completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, Australia.
Dr. Ng furthered his post-graduate education with several fellowships in interventional neuroradiology served in Perth, Western Australia, as well as at the University of California/San Francisco and the University of Utah. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology, along with a subspecialty board certification in neuroradiology.
Dr. Ng is the author of numerous scientific papers and book chapters and maintains an adjunct Associate Professor appointment at the University of Utah. He is a member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, American Heart and Stroke Associations, and Western Neuroradiological Society.
Dr. Ng treats a wide range of neurological disorders and is particularly interested in treatment of intracranial aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulas, acute stroke and carotid artery stenosis. His personal philosophy of care incorporates making the patient’s best interests a priority, promptly formulating an appropriate treatment plan by adhering to evidence-based guidelines, and utilization of state-of-the-art imaging technologies, interventional tools and multidisciplinary expertise to optimize clinical outcomes.
