About Russell Vollmer, LCSW

Russell Vollmer holds a Master of Social Work from the University of New England and is licensed as a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah and Idaho. With over 17 years of experience in the social work field, Russell has had the privilege of making a significant impact on the lives of patients. Throughout their career, Russell has worked directly with patients of all ages in various settings, including homes, community environments, and clinical facilities. Their extensive experience also extends to managing and operating mental health service clinics, where they’ve taken on administrative duties to ensure smooth operations.

Russell’s passion lies in direct patient care. As an effective and compassionate patient-centered psychotherapist, Russell empowers clients to live a full, rich life based on what is most important to them. Their therapy style is warm, supportive, genuine, and direct. Russell’s practice is rooted in empathy, respect, and cultural competence for all cultures, and they are deeply committed to providing affirming and inclusive mental health care.

Russell incorporates various techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), skill-building, trauma-focused therapy, attachment-based approaches, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness to support patients in achieving their treatment goals and leading healthier lives.
